The container engine Docker is configured out of the box, ready to run your applications. Through the continuous stream of updates, Docker is automatically and continuously updated with the operating system.
Containers are the future
Hybrid infrastructure requires containers – containers are the consistent, portable object that can be safely transported between environments. The tools to accomplish this are open source and standards driven, giving you a truly vendor-neutral solution.

The Bamboozle realCloud Container Infrastructure
CoreOS powers the world’s container infrastructure
That’s why Bamboozle realCloud Container servers utilize coreOS.
CoreOS Container Linux is the leading container operating system, designed to be managed and run at massive scale, with minimal operational overhead.
Applications with Container Linux run in containers, providing developer-friendly tools for deploying software.
Container Linux can be automatically deployed on realCloud but also runs on nearly any platform whether physical, virtual, or private/public cloud.
A Smart Datacenter Powered by #GIFEE
The transition from monolithic application deployments to flexible, cloud-native microservices requires more agile and dynamic computing infrastructure to keep pace with your business. Until now, these tools were only available to web giants like Facebook and Google. CoreOS brings this power to all businesses through the philosophy of #GIFEE:
Google’s Infrastructure for Everyone Else
#GIFEE utilizes new or existing data center infrastructure to easily operate at web scale with automated scaling, self-healing, and automatic software upgrades.
And Bamboozle realCloud enables you to use this infrastructure right away.
What is Kontena?
Kontena is an open source project for orchestrating and running containerized workloads on a cluster. The Kontena system is comprised of a number of Kontena Nodes (meaning servers or virtual machines that run containerized workloads) and a Kontena Master (which controls and monitors the Nodes).
With Kontena, you can construct your application using the Kontena Service definition. A Service definition describes the container image, networking, scaling and stateful/stateless attributes of your application. Services may be linked together to create the desired architecture. Each service is automatically assigned an internal DNS address, which can be used inside your application for inter-Service communications.
Kontena’s key features include:
- Scheduler with affinity filtering
- Built-in private Docker image registry
- Remote VPN access for workload services
- Ready-made load-balancing service
- Log and statistics aggregation with streaming
- Access control and roles for Kontena users
Kontena is administered via the Kontena command line interface, Kontena CLI.
